Sportswise's Comic Relief bake sale

Last week Sportswise staff and clients joined many others around the country raising money for Red Nose Day. The staff room was given over to a mouthwatering array of cakes, biscuits and bread and these were sold throughout the day raising £200 for the Comic Relief cause. Thanks to everyone who baked and bought!

Nick Webborn collects Sport England's 'Outstanding Contribution to Sport' award

At last night's Sussex Sports Awards 2012, a gala event at Brighton's Hilton hotel, Nick Webborn was announced as the winner of the Sport England 'Outstanding Contribution to Sport' award. The award recognised Nick's work over many years supporting athletes in Sussex but in particular his work with the British Paralympic Association, most notably this year as Chief Medical Officer for ParalympicsGB at the 2012 Games. Winners of other categories included Tina Cook, Sussex Sports Personality of the Year, and Ben Quilter, Disabled Sports Personality of the Year, a category sponsored by the University of Brighton.
