Nick attended the Chef de Mission seminar for 2012. This was a chance for team leaders from national Paralympic committees to receive an update from all departments at LOCOG and ensure that they have the latest information about London 2012 so that their teams are well prepared for the Games next year. During their three-day visit, the Chefs attended meetings on a wide range of topics, including ticketing, accommodation, accreditation and ceremonies. They also visited the Olympic Park and Olympic Village. The Chef de Mission seminar is a milestone for any organising committee as it articulates the service levels that will be provided to the NPC, its athletes and its team officials. This was the final Chef de Mission seminar before the start of the London 2012 Games. |
