Jo graduated from the University of East Anglia with an MSc Physiotherapy degree following completion of a BSc Physiology degree at the University of Bristol. She started her career in London treating musculoskeletal conditions in both the NHS and private sectors, before re-locating to East Sussex 10 years ago. Alongside her husband Paul, Jo is one of the Clinic Directors here at Sportswise. 
 
Over the years she has developed a special interest in the field of Pelvic Health physiotherapy. Following post-graduate training with The POGP she has acquired the skills to assess, treat and manage patients suffering with a range of gynaecological, obstetric and pelvic pain complaints. Jo is also an APPI Pilates Instructor and uses her training to complement her Physiotherapy management as well as running classes in the Eastbourne area.

Outside of work Jo is busy with her husband looking after their 3 young children. She is a keen runner and horse rider and loves any opportunity to get in the sea or up on the downs.
