After studying Sport Psychology at University I had the opportunity to train in London as a Sports Massage Therapist. I absolutely love it – I have always had a passion for sport and a real interest in the workings of the human body. After qualifying I spent a year working at Six Physio in Lindfield, West Sussex and joined the team at Sportswise in August 2016.
I enjoy meeting the wide range of people I treat – who include serious athletes, casual gym goers, or people who want to keep active as long as possible. Anyone who exercises, or seeks improvement in his or her general fitness and health, can benefit from a sports massage treatment. It is an excellent therapy for those who spend a long time sitting at a desk, who drive a lot for work, for gardeners, and for walkers.
Aside from my clinic work, I work at a local rugby club and at various triathlon and running events throughout the South-East, as well as for a professional cycling team who compete across the world. I am a keen athlete myself, which I find really helps me understand my clients’ perspective.
I compete in triathlon, open water swimming, and with horses.
