 Tom qualified in 2001 from the Leaf Hospital based here in Eastbourne and has subsequently worked as a Podiatrist for the University of Brighton, the NHS and various clinics privately. He has also provided lectures for various organizations and conferences notably New Balance Athletic Footwear and The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists. He has experience with lower limb problems associated with various medical disorders and has an interest in the effects Multiple Sclerosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis have on the lower limb. He has an interest in sports injuries and his professional knowledge allows him to assess the mechanical influence of the lower limb on the body.Tom aims to keep up date with current opinion and is currently studying for a Postgraduate certificate, whilst already holding certificates in Pharmacology, Local Anasthaesia and Podiatric Acupuncture. Tom has provided services at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, volunteered at The London Marathon and worked with Gillingham Football Club. He currently works with the Kent Multiple Sclerosis Centre, Kent CCC and also provides services from his Shop & Clinic in Ashford, Kent (www.podplus.co.uk). |
