Sportswise physiotherapist, Maryke Louw, recently visited the local Eastbourne support group for the Royal Osteoporosis Society to talk about how exercise can help protect your bones.
We all know that exercise is good for our general health but it is also good for our bone health. Maryke discussed the importance in factoring impact activity, strength training, balance and postural exercises into your routine, and that you don't necessarily have to go to an exercise class as there are lots of activities you can do during the day to help strengthen your body.
If you would like to find out what exercise is right for you please speak to one of our physiotherapists or call the Royal Osteoporosis Society on 0808 800 0035.
