We would like to congratulate one of our recent patients, Patryk, on now being ranked number 1 in the UK for the 100m backstroke and 100m butterfly in his age category.
Patryk swims exclusively for Eastbourne Swimming Club and was selected to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival in North Macedonia where he won 3 medals. Well done Patryk on this incredible achievement!
Bly Twomey won her first major title taking gold at the ITTF European Para Table Tennis Championships in Sweden. The 15 year old from Brighton beat the defending World and European champion 3-0 in the women's class 7 singles. Bly rounded off a successful tournament by winning a second gold in the mixed doubles class 14 alongside Will Bayley and a bronze in the women's doubles class 14 with partner Fliss Pickard.
Sportswise is very proud of her achievement. Well done Bly!
Team GB boxer and 3 time national amateur heavyweight champion, Grace Buckle was picked to recently compete in the women's +80kg competition at the 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool. Unfortunately, her preparation was hampered by an injury but we were delighted to assist in getting her to the tournament where she put in a great performance.
Well done Grace on your perseverance and reaching your goal. We wish you further success in 2026.
