After eight years of working with us we sadly said goodbye to our wonderful physio Maryke Louw. Those who have met Maryke know just how special she is to us, and what an amazing physio she is. Maryke is now spending the next few years being a digital nomad and working whilst travelling the world. She will be missed by so many patients and the entire team here at Sportswise. We certainly have big shoes to fill!
And those shoes will partly be filled by our new physiotherapist Eleni Tsafandakis. Yes, we replace one great South African physio with another! Eleni will be joining us for two clinics a week in the New Year and we look forward to welcoming her to the team.

Other changes include the departure of our podiatrist Glen Foley who has been working with Sportswise for almost four years and has taken the opportunity to work at Harley Street in London. We also said goodbye to receptionist Laura Seaman, who has worked with us since leaving university. Laura has accepted a position locally working with patient rehabilitation in the community. We wish both Glen and Laura all the best with their future careers.
Bonnie Lamb has joined the admin team and is gaining valuable experience working in the clinic, as she is also studying full-time to be a physiotherapist.
